What if?

Do you have any “what' if’s?” in your life?
What if I can’t trust them?
What if they let me down?
What if they hurt me?
What if this person does the same thing, that person did?
What if I can’t keep going?
What if I’m not good enough?
What if I make mistakes?
What if I fail?
Life conditions us to be prepared to fail because essentially planning for the worst helps both prevent failure and can reduce the impact of mistakes. Therefore, it is a survival skill to worry and it is a very human thing to plan for the worst, but hope for the best.
It is impossible not to worry at all, but it is necessary to do it with balance. Most people worry about things they can’t control which creates a sense of vulnerability. The worrying is caused by broken trust and loss in faith. However, worrying without allowing it to become fear and balancing it with excitement and curiosity can be constructive.
What if you worried about all the things you would miss out on, all the experiences you wouldn’t have, all the possibilities you would miss if you don’t try, if you don’t give up, if everything goes right?
What can happen?
How far can you go?
I want you to take a moment to REEEALLY think about that.
If you are experiencing any kind of FEAR, DOUBT or INSECURITIES I want you to sit down and really have a conversation with yourself about all THE GOOD THINGS THAT CAN HAPPEN in your life.
Just for a moment, don’t think about anything negative.
“If you lived free of fear, doubt, and insecurity what would you do, who would you be?”
What would you do if I told you that all those things are possible even with your fear, your doubt, and your insecurities?
They can be there, but they don’t have to get in your way AND the more you achieve despite of having them the faster they will disappear because you will regain your faith in people and in yourself. The more you try the more opportunity you give yourself to experience more triumph over tragedy. Then you will realize that yes, life is not perfect and somethings don’t go as planned, but instead you can learn to focus on all the things that do.
Imagine if you could accomplish everything you already have through the fear, doubt, and insecurities...what else are you capable of if you didn’t have them at all???
